About Fiona

Fiona is an APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Certified Pilates Instructor. She completed a Masters of Physiotherapy at Curtin University in early 2009, having previously studied a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science at Monash University.  In 2015 Fiona completed a Masters of Manual Therapy at the University of Western Australia.

 

After initially working in a large hospital in Perth, Fiona returned to Melbourne in 2010 and has been working in private practice since. Her belief in Clinical Pilates to improve posture, strength and flexibility has led her to be an educator of APPI Pilates in Australia since 2012.

Fiona has also undertaken an Introduction to Women's Health Physiotherapy course, allowing her to more effectively treat pregnant and post-natal women for a variety of conditions.

​

Outside of work Fiona enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, running, swimming and exploring in nature.

  • Treatment of the Lumbar Spine and Pelvis (Level 1 & 2)

  • Mulligan Upper Quadrant (techniques for the neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand)

  • Management of sporting hip, groin and knee injuries.

  • WHTA Introduction to Women's Health
